“ I thought I took a pic of the menu but I didn't and I forgot the name of what I got. But it was a chicken sticky rice, and I think the little cup had shredded cucumber and a Thai tea. It also came with a sweet and sour like sauce. Over all it was good. The portion was ok because I was satiated. ($23.00 for meal plus drink). I liked that I could see some of the food being prepared in front of me. They have a bar like seating around their area. It was clean. One draw back was we didn't hear our number called and the only reason we knew our food was ready was because the person I was with noticed they were calling numbers passed ours and when she went to the register my food was just sitting there. At first I didn't think much of it but notice they were calling other peoples numbers and actually bringing their food to them. Overall it was good but I probably wouldn't return but mostly because there are so many other options here to try at the market. ”

“ Sticky Rice in the center of the hustle and hustle of Grand Central Market absolutely delivered! We ordered the Gai Yang - a Thai BBQ chicken with papaya salad and sticky rice - and it was incredible. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with flavor. The papaya salad had the perfect balance of sour, spicy, and fresh, making every bite so satisfying. And of course, the sticky rice tied it all together. So much flavor in one dish! Also had a Thai iced tea, which was rich, sweet, and had just the right amount of spice. A perfect way to cool down between bites. We were able to snag some seats write in front of the grill which was a cool experience to witness the staff freshly grilling our chicken, such a vibe. They were so kind and treated us to a Vday chocolate as we waited. Highly recommend if you're craving something bold, fresh, and packed with authentic Thai flavors. My favorite meal this trip!!! ”

There are a few exceptions, and I believe Sticky Rice is one of them. This isn't a gimmick shop; all the employees are Thai. Prices are quite reasonable for lunch these days, averaging around $15 per entrée. They offer ample counter seating, a rarity in the market, which is invaluable during busy hours. My go-to dish is the Pad See-EW. You receive a generous portion of perfectly sauce-coated rice noodles that deliver the expected sweet taste, providing a delightful contrast to the savory chicken. The chicken portion is substantial as well. My only complaint is that the vegetables were a bit underseasoned. Overall, it's a fantastic spot. I would highly recommend it if you're in the area or looking to order something via DoorDash. The pleasure? It was all mine. ”

“ This is a Thai food place in Grand Central Market in LA. They have a variety of food options that you can pick from. Things do sell out, so get what you want when you order. I waited until after my lunch to order mango sticky rice, and they sold out while I was eating. Overall, a solid place for Thai food. * Gai Yang ( Thai BBQ Chicken w/ Papaya Salad & Sticky Rice) 4/5 - Decent bbq chicken with a hint of a lemongrass flavor. * Pad Kee Mao (Spicy Drunken Noodles) 4/5 - These were savory flat rice noodles with a spicy kick to them. You can add a protein to it (I chose beef and it was good). The dish also came with baby corns, mushrooms, beansprout, bell peppers, chinese broccoli, etc. * Beef Panang (Braised Beef Curry) 4.5/5 - I was surprised seeing the container because it was 1/3 the size of the Yellow Chicken Curry. Maybe because beef is more expensive than chicken? But yeah, similar pricing for both, and the chicken curry was good, so I'd pick that over this if I knew. Other than that, the beef was very tender and the curry sauce was good. There was an interesting sweetness to it. * Kaeng Karee (Yellow Chicken Curry) 4.5/5 - The chicken was very tender and the curry was good and flavorful. Bonus that it is triple the size of the beef curry for the same price. * Vegetable Egg Rolls 5/5 - The egg rolls were crispy and tasty. I'm not a vegetable person, but I enjoyed them. * Pad Krapow Gai 3.5/5 - This came with rice and ground chicken. It was decent, but there are better options on the menu. * Crab Fried Rice 4/5 - Good fried rice with a lot of crab meat. ”

“ What We Ordered: -Pad Kee Mow w/Shrimp $18 -Gai Yang $16 -Thai Tea $5 I ate before coming here. I didn't have a huge appetite. I met a good friend I hadn't seen in over seven years. It was great to catch up over a meal at Sticky Rice. I've lived quite a bit in Asia, and I've traveled to Thailand. I like to think I know Thai food quite well. I have to say the food was quite delicious. We both liked the Gai Yang, which came with the papaya salad. I definitely recommend this dish! We also had the Pad See Mow with Shrimp, which is an extra charge for the shrimp instead of the standard beef or other protein. Pad Kee Mow, which is what most people refer to as drunken noodles. Now, the Pad Kee Mow was all right. It wasn't amazing or anything to write home about. I also ordered a Thai Thai, which wasn't a bit too sweet for my liking. I would have liked a stronger tea flavor. This was a miss for me! I would return here, but it wouldn't be my first choice at Grand Central Market. ”
